Out of the fight against Leon Edwards at UFC 269, Jorge masvidal was not spared by his former friend, Colby covington. On social media, 'Caos' provoked his rival and released a video in which he predicted that 'Jesus das Ruas' would leave the duel that takes place on December 11th. At the time, the last challenger for the welterweight belt (under 77kg) suggested that his former roommate should be his next opponent.

“I heard that 'Judas the Fragile' is out and injured. Who could have predicted this?” Colby posted on his Twitter account. Twitter.
The North American's phrase accompanied a recent video, from his press conference after the defeat to Kamaru Usman, UFC 268. At the time, 'Chaos' proposed a duel against his former friend.
“I think the most logical step for me is the fight against my old roommate, 'Judas of the Streets', Masvidal. He will probably pull out of the fight against Leon and we can confirm it”, said Covington, at the time.
Companions for years on 'American Top Team', Colby and Masvidal were once best friends. After Covington left the team, the athletes began exchanging barbs via the press and social media.
If the former interim welterweight champion tries to get back on track to winning ways, the same can be said of Jorge. The athlete is coming off two consecutive defeats to Usman, in a fight for the group's belt.
