the american Forrest griffin marked his name in UFC history. The light heavyweight was the first winner of TUF in the United States, in 2005, and fought the most important fight in the organization's history, against Stephan bonnar, in the final of the reality show. Furthermore, Griffin was the UFC champion in 2008.
With this trajectory, Forrest announced his retirement at the end of May and was declared a member of the UFC Hall of Fame. However, to everyone's surprise, Griffin revealed that he may even return to competing if he is fully recovered from his injuries.
“I will start training again in September or August. Maybe I'll be magically cured, and if everything works out great, then I'll have to try (fight) again. But, I'm not healthy right now”, said Forrest in an interview with the North American website “MMA Fight Corner".
Despite the intention of returning to compete, Griffin recognizes the good work done in the organization. “It was eight good years, I think. The biggest thing I learned is that when Dana White tells you to retire, you have to retire or else you're going to screw up your knee in the next fight,” he joked.

I really enjoyed watching this guy's fights! That's why I'd really like to see him in action again, but as a fan, if he can't fight at his best level anymore, as the fighters at the moment in the category are very good, it's better to stop and finish with a good record like his career!
