In the early hours of last Saturday (6) to Sunday (7), Kamaru Usman derrotou Colby covington by unanimous decision of the judges in the main fight of the UFC 268 and defended the organization's welterweight (up to 77 kg) belt for the fifth time.

“It was definitely not a compliment. He's a cheating coward, I have no respect for this guy. He is obviously a cheater, he has cheated in several fights. Today he was holding my glove against the fence. In the first round I tried for a takedown and he hit me twice in the back of the head. I think Dan Miragliotta is one of the three best referees in the world, but I warned him before the fight not to let this guy hit me in the back of the head, but he did. You will never see me cheating or trying to cheat. It's unfair, but I feel like I did my job and I promise this wasn't the last time he saw me,” Covington said.
First placed in the welterweight rankings, Colby covington He now has two defeats in his last three fights, both to the champion Kamaru Usman. The last time the North American lost to another opponent was in 2015, when he was submitted by the Brazilian Warlley alves.
