Audit places Rodrigo Minotauro as the highest paid Brazilian in UFC history

The BDO Brasil audit released a study on the largest official scholarships that the UFC has paid in its history. Based on the work developed by the North American website MMA Manifesto, which brings together information released by athletic commissions*, BDO Brasil counted the sum of the main Brazilian fighters in the UFC.

According to the work, no Brazilian received more from the UFC than Rodrigo Minotauro. The former interim heavyweight champion pocketed US$2,89 million, approximately R$6,5 million, in his career of nine fights for the largest MMA organization in the world, placing him in eighth place in the overall rankings. The sum represents US$38.697 per minute worked. By this average, Minotauro's performance places him in fourth place in UFC history.

The UFC's highest-paid fighter of all time is Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell. The former heavyweight champion earned US$4,32 million in 23 fights. But when the ranking counts the money received per minute fought, Liddell falls to third place ($43.316 per minute), surpassed by Brock Lesnar ($62.270) and alistair overeem (US$52.251).

Most dominant champion in UFC history, Anderson Silva He is the second highest paid Brazilian in the organization. With revenues of US$2,871 million, Spider comes immediately after Minotauro, in ninth place. However, in the list per minute, Anderson falls to thirteenth place overall, behind Vitor belfort e Wanderlei Silva, among others.
