Vicente Luque 'ignores' Khamzat Chimaev and reiterates interest in fighting Nate Diaz

Brazilian says he is preparing to face 'bad boy' in December, even though UFC has not made the fight official

In an interview with the website 'MMA fighting', Luque reiterated the challenge for Diaz and stated that he is already training in search of a fight in December, if Ultimate wants to promote the duel. He even revealed that he is excited and highlighted his motivation for a fight against the North American.

“If it depends on me, it will happen. I'm already training with that mentality and I'll be ready for December. The UFC knows that I'm interested, that I'm in. Nate seems to be too – at least he said so on Twitter, so that's a done deal for me. Just give me the date, I'm already training for that. I will be prepared,” said Luque.

In a great phase in Ultimate, Luque has four consecutive victories at welterweight. On the radar for a future title dispute, the athlete currently occupies fourth position in the group led by Kamaru Usman.
