With Dana White's endorsement, Khamzat Chimaev begins 'hunt' for Nate Diaz

New UFC pupil, Swede confirms interest in challenging the North American in a confrontation that could seal the farewell of the company's 'bad boy'

With the endorsement of Dana White, the hunting season is open. Nate diaz' by Khamzat Shimaev. After putting on a show in the octagon of UFC 267 and win li jingliang without even being touched, the Swede confirmed his interest in exchanging forces with 'bad boy' in his new appointment. Willing to face the North American, the Ultimate student used social media to try to convince his possible rival.

“Come on, brother,” Chimaev wrote on his Twitter account. Twitter, tagging Diaz in the post.

A hit among MMA fans, Nate is nearing the end of his contract with Ultimate. With one fight left, the 'bad boy' even agreed to a confrontation against the Brazilian Vincent Luque, but the conversations ended up cooling down.

PUBLICITY:

Considered one of the bets for the future of the organization, Khamzat remains willing to remain active. To date, the fighter has had four appearances for the company, in just over a year. In all the challenges, White's pupil won in the fast lane (knockout or submission).

With an undefined future, Nate returned to the octagon in 2021, after almost two years of inactivity. At the time, the North American faced Leon edwards, but ended up being defeated by the judges' unanimous decision.
