Daniel Cormier praises Khamzat Chimaev and expresses interest in the Swede's fight against Gilbert Durinho

Former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion, American says that Brazilian would be the 'ideal opponent' to measure strength against Chimaev

Khamzat Shimaev put on another show in his UFC performance last Saturday (30). In edition number 267, held in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the Swede overcame li jingliang in the first round. In fact, the fighter's performance caught the attention of part of the MMA community and Daniel Cormier also expressed himself.

Furthermore, Cormier stated that he would like to see a fight between the Swede and the Brazilian Gilbert Durinho.

Khamzat Shimaev he had just his first fight since recovering from problems arising from COVID-19, but he impressed by not having received any blows in the fight against li jingliang. The Russian athlete radicalized in Sweden now occupies 10th place in the category led by Kamaru Usman.
