Excited after putting on a show on his return to the Octagon, the Swede Khamzat Shimaev also challenged the former welterweight challenger (up to 77,1kg) Jorge masvidal. The division's promise admitted his interest in fighting for the 'BMF' belt (most tough fighter), won by 'Gamebred' in November 2019. The statement was made at a press conference after the UFC 267 last Saturday (30).

“(Jorge) Masvidal had a belt in his last fight. I'm going to take everything from the UFC. Now, I am the UFC. Fight, fight and fight, I love that shit. I make money and I’m happy to do it for you,” said Chimaev.
Undefeated in professional MMA with 10 victories, Khamzat is currently one of the biggest names in the organization. In four fights in the company, the Swede ended all of his duels via the fast track, either by knockout or submission. In the next ranking update, the prospect may appear for the first time among the 15 best fighters in the category.
