Vettori's manager loses patience with Borrachinha and asks Brazilians to respect the sport

Patience with Paulo borrachinha ended, at least on the part of the businessman Marvin vettori. Keeping an eye on the latest events that precede the athletes' fight in the UFC Las Vegas 41, the agent reached his limit and decided to shoot the Brazilian. The professional used social media to criticize the category changes days before the main clash this Saturday (23).

“I found out that he (Borrachinha) will never be allowed to fight at middleweight again. I will do everything so that his next opponent's surname is Magomedov. This disrespects the sport, the coaches, teammates. The worst thing is seeing his team making jokes, as if it were funny”, wrote Abdelaziz on his Twitter account.

According to Ali, Paulo was using tricks to get the confrontation canceled. The agent, however, ruled out the possibility.

“I wasn't going to say anything, but he's making jokes about the weight cut. He’s doing everything he can to get the UFC to cut him and cancel the fight, but that’s not going to happen,” he published.

At the beginning of the week, when he arrived in Las Vegas, Borrachinha made no secret of the fact that he would not be able to reach the weight limit established in the contract. At a press conference, the Brazilian stated that he weighed around 95kg, more than 10 kg above the required weight.

Afterwards, Paulo, Marvin and the UFC reached an agreement for the fight to be fought at catchweight. The combined quantity was 88,5kg. However, in the last few hours, the agreement was changed again, being signed for the light heavyweights (up to 93kg.).
