Duel between Borrachinha and Vettori undergoes new changes and will be held in light heavyweight

With hours remaining until the event's official weigh-in, the main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 41, between Paulo borrachinha e Marvin vettori, underwent another important change related to weight. The duel will now be held in the light heavyweight division, up to 93 kg.

This is the second time in a matter of hours that the duel between Borrachinha and Vettori has undergone changes of this type. After Borrachinha stated that he would not be able to reach the limit of the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), the two athletes had reached a verbal agreement to face each other at catch weight, up to 88,5 kg. Hours later, the new change to the light heavyweight division was confirmed.

The information was initially confirmed by the North American website Sherdog and, later, confirmed by UFC executive, Hunter Campbell.

Before facing each other in the octagon, Paulo borrachinha e Marvin vettori step onto the scale to confirm the duel at the official weigh-in of the UFC Las Vegas 41, which takes place this Friday morning (22).

Both Borrachinha and Vettori seek to recover from defeats suffered against the middleweight champion, Israel adesanya, in his last fights.

Besides Paulo borrachinha, Brazil has six other representatives at this Saturday’s event (23): Francisco Massaranduba, Gregory Robocop, Tabatha Ricci, Mary Oliveira, Daniel Miojo e Livinha Souza.
