With an eye on a new conquest of the strawweight belt (up to 52,2kg), Carla esparza assumed his prediction for the co-main fight of the UFC 268. The current champion Rose namajunas will have a rematch against China's Wheili Zhang and will be supported by the former category leader. The statement was given in an interview with ‘MMA Junkie'.

“I think Rose will win again. I think she will win the rematch. I don't know if it will be that fast, but for my sake, I hope it is. I hope she gets a great submission and leaves (the fight) without damage, and that this generates a quicker return so that we can fight, potentially”, said Carla.

The two athletes have already faced each other in the decision of the twentieth season of the reality show ‘The Ultimate Fighter‘. In this ocasion, Carla esparza she won by submission in the third round and became the first champion of the 52,2kg division.

Third placed in the strawweight rankings, Esparza could face the winner of the duel between Namajunas and Zhang. The two athletes will face each other for the second time in UFC 268, scheduled for November 6th. In the first confrontation, in April of this year, Rose won by knockout in the first round.
