After drama, Borrachinha and Vettori make weight and confirm main fight for UFC Las Vegas 41

During the early afternoon of this Friday (22), the fighters scheduled for the UFC Las Vegas 41 passed their first opponent before even entering the Octagon.

All 28 athletes on the card successfully reached the determined weights and confirmed the 14 fights for this Saturday's event (23).

PUBLICITY:

Initially scheduled at middleweight (up to 83 kg), the main fight of the event, between Paulo borrachinha e Marvin vettori ended up moving up to light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) after much confusion during the week. Overweight, the Brazilian stated that he would not be able to reach the original weight for the duel and reached a verbal agreement with the Italian so that they could face each other at a combined weight of up to 88,5 kg. Hours before the official weigh-in, however, it was decided that the combat weight limit would be 93 kg.
