Opponent of Fedor Emelianenko No. Bellator 269, Tim Johnson believes he will only beat the Russian if he achieves a submission or knockout. In an interview with 'B.J. Penn', the North American admitted that he does not expect a favorable decision for his side if the fight goes into the hands of the judges and cited a possible 'favoring' for the legend by fighting in his home country.

“We made a joke in the team that if I don't win by submission or knockout, I probably won't win the fight. With the fight taking place in Russia, I probably won't win by the judges' decision. Since I was a kid, the only country I wanted to visit was Russia and now I get paid to go fight there,” Johnson said.
Hired by Bellator in 2018, Tim was on a three-fight win streak until he was defeated by Valentin Moldavsky in June of that year. At 36 years old, the North American has a record of 15 triumphs and seven setbacks in professional MMA.
