The only unrealized Ultimate event in its entire history, UFC 151, continues to yield developments to this day – almost a year after the date it was scheduled for, September 1, 2012. This Sunday (9), during the program UFC Tonight: Fight Edition, Chael Sonnen, who barely replaced the injured Dan Henderson that night, he revealed a “setup” between him and Hendo. The loudmouth even got up to no good and took the opportunity to provoke the Brazilian Rodrigo Minotauro, whom he replaced in the duel against Mauritius Shogun.

"You know. This (the injury) added to Minotouro's cowardice. I've been training for Shogun for a while now. I knew it was going to happen. This reminds me of when I and Dan Henderson we set up for Jon Jones eight days in advance,” said Sonnen. “He finally admitted it”, added the loudmouth, looking at the cameras.

Sonnen refers to the accusations made by the coach of Jon Jones, Greg Jackson, who stated that Chael knew about the injury to Dan Henderson in advance and would have trained to replace him before the injury was officially communicated to the organization. Jackson was based on the fact that the two athletes trained together on the team Team Quest to raise the hypothesis. At the time, Sonnen's manager and Hendo himself denied that this had happened.

The solution found by Ultimate at that time, due to Jones' prompt refusal to fight Sonnen at the last minute, was to cancel the event and schedule a title fight between Jon Jones e Vitor belfort for UFC 162 three weeks later. But Chael Sonnen He didn’t leave empty-handed. The loudmouth won the right to be the TUF 17 coach alongside the light heavyweight champion and challenged him in April this year. Both Belfort and Sonnen ended up defeated by Jonny Bones.
