After dismissal from UFC, Diego Nunes agrees with Bellator

Brazilian is yet another fighter to sign with Ultimate's main rival organization

Little by little, the athletes dismissed by Ultimate in the organization's recent wave of layoffs are finding new events to perform at. The most recent of them was Brazilian Diego Nunes, cut from the UFC in February, who signed a contract with Bellator. The information was anticipated, last Friday (7), on the website All-Out Attack.

Hair Twitter, Diego himself confirmed the agreement with Ultimate's main rival organization in the USA. “Bellator fighter!” published the Brazilian on his official profile on the microblog network, after reproducing some news from international websites about the signed agreement.

Diego “The Gun” Nunes, 30 years old, has a record of 18 wins and four losses and has played, in addition to Ultimate, in events such as Shooto and WEC. In his last fight, the gaucho from Caxias do Sul ended up defeated by Nick Lentz in the UFC Sao Paulo, in January.
