North American journalist exposes Jon Jones' offense on social media

The most recent arrest of Jon Jones, accused of domestic violence against his fiancée in September, continues to be one of the most discussed topics in the world of MMA. After take to social media to deny what happened, despite the evidence, and promise changes, the former UFC light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg) made news for offending a journalist.

Last Friday (15), North American journalist Amy Kaplan, from the Fanside website, which specializes in MMA, exposed a screenshot showing Jon Jones offending her in a private message on Twitter.

“First of all, you literally look like a witch. Second, get my girls out of your mouth. You have no idea what is normal for them. You are disgusting judging others. F*** you,” he wrote. Jon Jones.

After publishing the message sent by Jon Jones, Amy Kaplan explained that she did not contact the fighter at any point. According to the journalist, the offenses were a response from Jones to her coverage of the case.

“I have not messaged him, but I have been vocal in my coverage of his arrest and past history with domestic violence. It’s no secret how I feel,” Kaplan said.

Still according to Amy Kaplan, the message of Jon Jones is also related to one of his Twitter posts.

“I tweeted that his daughters would learn to accept an abusive man because that's what they see/think is normal. That’s what he’s referring to,” said the journalist.

With an uncertain future, Jon Jones He is scheduled to be tried for the incident on October 26th.
