Bellator star Corey Anderson criticizes UFC again and cites 'mental pressure' when fighting at the event

Bellator Star, Corey anderson live a great moment in your life. After leaving the UFC for its biggest competitor and making the investment worth it, the fighter has a lot to celebrate. With three consecutive crashes, the North American highlighted the secret to the current phase and criticized the relationship with his old home.

"I am happy now. That's the secret. A happy fighter is a dangerous fighter. My life changed completely. I'm a father, I have two beautiful children. I don't work, I wake up and live a dream. I’m happy with everything I’ve done in life”, said the athlete, at the press conference after his victory over Ryan bader.

Willing to clarify his current situation, Anderson went further. The fighter stated that not having to deal with bureaucracy, which, according to the athlete, was common in Ultimate, was an important part of the process.

“I no longer have a fight with an organization. I tried to argue on Twitter and it was always shot in the foot. Now, I don't need to do that anymore. (…) It was difficult in the UFC, not only because of the competition, but mentally. I defeated my opponents and they always put me up against rivals who were behind in the rankings. (…) I not only had to fight in the cage, but against the organization as well”, he concluded.

This Saturday (16), Anderson returned to show at Bellator. Opponent of the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg.), Ryan bader, the fighter needed less than a minute to defeat his rival. With the victory, the North American advanced to the final of the category tournament and will face the current owner of the belt, Vadim nemkov.
