Near the final minute, Brent managed to get to his back and tried to lock in a rear naked choke. Henderson defended himself and Primus insisted on the position. The assault ended with Brent 'glued' to the former Ultimate champion's back.

In the opening seconds of the last round, Henderson managed to knock down his opponent. Primus got up quickly, but almost got caught in a guillotine from Ben. Brent defended himself and managed to reverse the situation. Primus tried to return the guillotine, but Henderson managed to escape. Halfway through the round, Brent managed to get to the former UFC champion's back and attempted a rear naked choke. Henderson defended himself and did not allow his opponent to advance.
