Before the two fights that close the TUF Brasil 2 Finale, this Saturday (8) in Fortaleza, the decision of the reality tournament and the coaches' duel, four fights shook up the main card of the event. And what we saw was a true jiu-jitsu festival, which made this the event with the most submissions in UFC history, added to a merciless light heavyweight knockout. Thiago Silva about Rafael Feijão.

Thiago Silva gets out of a complicated situation and knocks out Feijão
In the duel between light heavyweights Thiago Silva e Rafael Feijão, what we saw was a great turnaround. After starting cornered and being dominated by the former Strikeforce champion, Thiago took advantage of his opponent's drop in performance and went for the knockout.
Silva had suffered the most devastating blows in the first half of the first round when he took advantage of Feijão's obvious fatigue to take control of the fight at the end of the round. Erick silva applies a lightning finish

Sarafian also uses jiu-jitsu to win
In one of the quietest victories of the night, the finalist of the first edition of TUF Brasil Daniel sarafian finished Eddie Mendez in three minutes and forty seconds. After a studied start to the fight, the athletes went to the clinch on the cage, when Sarafian took advantage of his opponent's mistake and took the fight to the ground.
With a much more refined ground game than the North American, Daniel, who is a pupil of Demian Maia, he had no trouble getting the mount and submitting Mendez with a katagatame. In his interview, Sarafian spoke about the strategy to achieve his first victory in the UFC. “I had the tactic of taking the fight to the ground, no matter how much I trust my fight on the feet. Good thing I managed to take him with a judo blow that he couldn't wait for,” he said.
Jason finishes English quickly
If the atmosphere was hot throughout the preliminary card, the fight that opened the main card of TUF Brasil 2 Finale was no different. The Ceará Ron Jason he almost brought down the Paulo Sarasate gym at his entrance, with the traditional horror movie villain mask. And if there was any doubt about the way the Nogueira brothers' pupil and TUF Brasil 1 champion would conduct the fight, it was extinguished in just over a minute of fighting.
Working from below, Rony managed to catch the Brit in a very tight triangle. With the position conquered, Jason worked on the submission, but counted on Wilkinson's resistance. The Englishman refused to tap and ended the fight completely unconscious, after receiving some elbows from the Brazilian. In the end, the Ceará native still asked his compatriots in the stands for silence, as, according to him, his opponent was sleeping.
During his interview after the victory, Jason recalled his humble origins, in the small town of Quixadá, in the interior of Ceará. The TUF Brazil 1 champion also spoke about how he accepted the fight at the last minute and was emotional when offering the result to his late grandfather. “I would like to dedicate this victory to my grandfather who unfortunately passed away. Grandpa, now I can give you a hug and say 'go with God'. This one was for you, okay?” said Rony.
