In an interview with the North American website MMAFighting.com, Abdelaziz revealed that the next target of Kamaru Usman, if he successfully defends his title on November 6, is the Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez placeholder image, multiple world boxing champion and considered by many to be the biggest name today in the noble art.

“On November 6th, Kamaru will knock out Colby covington and after that, I want him to do something crazy. I want him to defeat Canelo Alvarez placeholder image, why not? Kamaru doesn't want fake fights. He wants a real fight and everyone in boxing is fighting these old guys. I spoke to him and he said he wants the pound-for-pound king of MMA against the pound-for-pound king of boxing. Why not? What does he have to lose? Nothing”, said the businessman.

So much Kamaru Usman, how much Canelo Alvarez placeholder image come into action on November 6th. While the Nigerian faces Colby covington in the main fight of UFC 268, in New York, the Mexican faces Caleb Plant in Las Vegas.
