In combat against Jiri Prochazka, Dominick suffered a brutal setback – being the second in a row – in the first round of the UFC Las Vegas 25. He now says he had superficial, brain and knee injuries, taking care in the recovery process afterwards.
“It took two months to heal my superficial and brain injuries (from the Prochazka fight). I had knee surgery and it had to take another month or two for that. So, it's been about four months, although it's not much considering the damage that was done.”
Professional since 2014, Dominick reyes managed to attract the attention of MMA lovers by putting together a sequence of 12 triumphs in a row, in addition to putting on a balanced fight against the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg.)
