Last Sunday (02) the finalists of TUF Brasil 2 were announced, who will compete for the title this Saturday, in Fortaleza. In one of the fights, the carioca William Patolino knocked out the paulista Viscardi Andrade.
In an interview published last Wednesday (05), on the Combate channel website, Viscardi said that he faced Patolino with a broken hand. The fighter, born in Jales, in the interior of São Paulo, would have hidden the fact from the doctors, for fear of being cut from the program, even going against the coaches' recommendations. Fabricio Werdum and Rafael Cordeiro, who requested that the fighter visit the orthopedist.
Viscardi showed an X-ray of his hand fracture on social media, claiming that it occurred before the TUF Brasil 2 semifinals.
This Thursday (06), Márcio Tannure, medical director of the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission, which regulates UFC events in Brazil, sought out the same report to give his version. According to the doctor, Viscardi lied about the injury.
“Viscardi said he fought with a broken hand and it's a lie, he broke it during the fight (against Patolino). We, as UFC doctors, would never allow him to fight like that, everyone was examined before the fights. It was ugly for him to invent that as an excuse for something, I didn't understand. He suffered the fracture during the fight and soon after went to the hospital, surgery being performed two days later. I wasn't there physically, but I think that's disrespectful towards his opponent and the people who were there working. He’s skilled, he put up a good fight and he doesn’t need that.”
Controversies aside, Viscardi was announced yesterday on the UFC Rio 4 card. His official debut in Ultimate will be against Bristol Marunde, who competed in TUF 16 in the United States.

My fans were for Santiago, that Argentinian came with a lot of desire to win this tuf, it's a shame he won't make the final...
Viascardi's lack of humility in accepting that he lost and lost badly to Patolino, you Viscardi is a comedy like the whole ferdum team because the true warrior takes lessons from defeat for his growth and is not left with excuses for the defeat he lost because Daffy was better and soon be ashamed of yourself.

This guy Viscard is a kid, he arrived in the world of fighting yesterday. Who is this M….., to do what he did to Minota. Have more respect you idiot and coward, you lost to the duck because besides him being better, I guarantee that everyone who likes the sport was upset by the beating he received. Even the judge must have liked it because from what I noticed in the last blows he couldn't even react anymore, the referee was just admiring the butt.
