The Ultimate organization confirmed the information released in recent days that the fight between Mauritius Shogun e Chael Sonnen would headline the UFC card on FOX Sports 1. The fight, originally scheduled to take place in edition 161, was moved to the August 17th event.
In addition to confirming the duel between the Brazilian and the loud-mouthed North American, the organization announced two more fights for the inaugural card of its association with the new partner TV channel: the duel between bantamweights Brad Picket and Michael McDonald and the clash between light heavyweights Cody Donovan and Ovince St Preux.
