Two of the most promising athletes in the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg) of Ultimate, Thiago Moses e Joel alvarez will measure forces in UFC Las Vegas 42, on November 13th. The duel was announced by Alvarez himself in a post on Instagram.

American Top Team athlete, Thiago Moses seeks to return to the path of victories in Ultimate. The Brazilian managed to score consecutive victories over Michael Johnson, Bobby Green e Alexander Hernandez, but was completed by Islam makhachev the last time he entered the Octagon, in July of this year. With four wins and three defeats for the organization, the former RFA champion occupies fifteenth place in the lightweight rankings.
Still looking for its place in the category ranking, Joel alvarez has three consecutive victories in the octagon. After losing in his debut against Damir Ismagulov, the Spaniard scored victories by interruption over Danilo Belluardo, Joseph Duffy e Alexander Yakovlev.
Scheduled for November 13th, the UFC Las Vegas 43's main fight will be a duel between featherweights (up to 65,7 kg) Max Holloway e Yair Rodriguez, which should define the next challenger for the title of Alexander Volkanovsky. Besides Thiago Moses, other Brazilians confirmed on the card are Jailton Malhadinho, Danilo Marques, Philip Lins e Marcos Foot.
