After doing what you do best, Chael Sonnen got what he wanted. Less than 24 hours after the announcement of the Rogério Minotouro of the fight against Mauritius Shogun and shortly after the loudmouth offered himself for the Twitter To fill the vacancy left by Nogueira, it was made official that Sonnen and Shogun will face each other at the event on June 15th.

“Shogun Rua, I heard Brazilian chicken is off the menu. American gangster is still available if you want to send your waitress”, Sonnen published on his profile on the microblogging network. The request was promptly fulfilled and the North American has around two weeks to prepare for combat.

Former light heavyweight champion Mauritius Shogun has a record of 21 wins and seven losses. In his last fight, in December, he ended up defeated by Alexander Gustafson in a unanimous decision by the judges. Already Chael Sonnen, has a record of 27 wins, 13 losses and one draw. The loudmouth comes from a knockout to Jon Jones, in April, in his second consecutive title fight – before, Sonnen had lost in the rematch against Anderson Silva.
