Ultimate plans duel between Pedro Munhoz and Dominick Cruz at UFC 269

O UFC 269, who already has three Brazilians involved in title fights, you are close to gaining another great ingredient. According to information from the North American website MMAFighting.com, Ultimate plans to match the duel between the Brazilian Peter Munhoz and former bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz.

Ninth place in the ranking of roosters, Peter Munhoz seeks to recover from the defeat suffered against his compatriot José Aldo No. UFC 265, in August this year. The American Top Team native from São Paulo has just one victory in his last four appearances in the octagon: against Jimmie rivera, in February this year.

Dominick Cruz, in turn, is looking to win two consecutive fights for the first time since 2016. The former bantamweight champion is coming off a victory over Casey Keeney in the UFC 259, in March this year. With one victory and one defeat since returning to MMA after almost four years away, the “Dominator” is eleventh in the division's rankings.

O UFC 269 takes place on December 11th, in Las Vegas. The event features champions Amanda nunes e Charles of the Bronx defending the bantamweight (up to 61,2 kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) titles against Julianna Pena e Dustin poirier, Deiveson Figueiredo seeks to regain the flyweight belt (up to 56,7 kg) in a trilogy against the current champion Brandon Moreno.
