The first Brazilian fighter signed by the UFC was Amanda nunes, but she won't be the first to step into the world's most famous octagon. This Friday, JJessica “Bate Estaca” Andrade was announced as a replacement for Miesha Tate in the fight against Liz carmouche.

The fight is scheduled for UFC On FOX 8, which will be played on July 27th, in Seattle. The dispute between Jéssica and Liz takes place in card main event, which will represent the first women's fight broadcast on the UFC's largest viewing platform, the FOX channel. The girls will share the card main with the flyweight belt dispute between Demetrious Johnson and John Moraga and with the important duels between the tops of the welterweight category Rory McDonald against Jake ellenberger e Robbie Lawler against Tarec saffiedine.

At just 21 years old, Jéssica is an athlete on the PRVT team, led by Gilliard Paraná. She is the second youngest fighter on the current UFC roster, being just three months older than Max Holloway. With a record of 9-2, Jéssica beat former boxing champion Duda Yankovich and won all of her victories via interruption (four knockouts and five submissions, four of them via guillotine choke).

The Brazilian's opponent competed in the first female fight in UFC history. Carmouche almost submitted the champion Ronda Rousey with a rear naked choke, but ended up becoming a statistic when he succumbed to yet another armbar in the first round of the opponent.
