Night to forget. Pupil of Nick Diaz and debutant in Ultimate, Martin Sano will not have a good memory of his performance in UFC 266, held this Saturday (25), in Las Vegas (USA). Opponent of Matthew Semelsberger, the welterweight (up to 77kg.) disappointed and made history by succumbing with a lightning knockout in just 15 seconds.

In his first appearance with the company's gloves, Sano didn't even have time to put his strategy into play. Without touching his opponent, Martin 'blacked out' when he was surprised by a straight right, which landed cleanly on his face, determining the brutal outcome.
The defeat extends Sano's bad phase as a professional in MMA. With the stumble, the athlete now has four fights without winning. His last positive result came in 2014.
The show at UFC 266 is not unprecedented in Semelsberger's career. The achievement made the fighter beat his own record. Previously, Matthew boasted one of the records for 'fastest knockout' in the company at 16 seconds.
