Opponent analysis

After shining at KSW and arriving at the UFC with good morale, Lipski will be committed to trying to stop Mandy's good run. Willing to become the first to beat the German, Ariane analyzed the confrontation.

“In her fights, she showed that she is a striker (standing fight). We cannot underestimate any opponent. I was caught by surprise in some fights. I went to fight with a striker and she put me down. More than thinking about my opponent, I have to think about what I need to improve to be able to show my striking. It's the place I'm most dangerous. The more I feel confident, the more I will show what I know. It may be a stand-up fight, but I see her trying to put me down. I am prepared for any situation,” she said.

Advantage over rival

This weekend, Ariane will have an important advantage over her rival: the debut factor. With experience of having already been through a similar situation, the Brazilian spoke about the psychological factor that Mandy will go through in the UFC Las Vegas 37.

“My experience, not only within the UFC, but in KSW, my age, the number of fights I have, having fought with the top guys in my division, certainly gives me an advantage. She is nervous. Everyone gets nervous before a fight and, when it’s a debut, I went through that, we come in confident, but my experience will make a difference”, he guaranteed.

Training with Amanda Nunes

Representative of American Top Team, Ariane had the opportunity to follow some of the legendary's training sessions Amanda nunes, who is preparing for a new title defense in December. A fan of the 'Leoa', the Curitiba native narrated the feeling of being in the presence of one of the great references in world MMA.

“It’s inspiring. We arrived at the gym and were very well received by all the athletes, but, being Brazilian, we talked more with Amanda and Nina (Nunes, wife of the champion). She (Amanda) has a very good heart. She already admired her for her work, but I began to know and admire her as a person. She's always giving me a few touches, trying to improve this or that, giving me the experiences she's already had, to help me, trying to open my vision in some way. I had the opportunity to do grappling training with her and it was a really good opportunity. Seeing how far she's come and how dedicated she still is, seeing her strong, always excited, training and that's very inspiring. It’s a really good energy,” she said.

Ending for the 'Queen of Violence'

In search of victory, firstly, Lipski does not hide his desire to achieve his first knockout victory in Ultimate. The athlete, however, guarantees, above all, a great presentation to the fans on the main card of the event.
