Ruthless in the boxing challenge, held this Saturday (11), in Florida (USA), Vitor belfort took advantage of the hit on Evander Holyfield to 'nudge' his initial opponent for the event. At the press conference after the massacre of the veteran of the 'noble art', the 'Phenomenon' joked about his performance by provoking Oscar De La Hoya, who left the confrontation after testing positive for Covid-19.

“He's the happiest guy on the planet, my friend. He saw what happened,” joked Belfort.

Despite having shown himself open to a fight against De La Hoya, Vitor said that the former multiple boxing champion is not a priority. The Brazilian showed interest in a million-dollar fight against another boxing legend.

“(I want) Canelo (Álvarez). I want $40 million. How do you say no to US$40 million?” said Vitor.

At the same press conference, the Brazilian MMA legend admitted that he was offered a 'trifle' of more than R$200 million to act against the multi-time champion. On the rise, the Rio native stated that he also has a proposal of US$30 million to face the youtuber Jake Paul.
