Former Strikeforce champion, Ronaldo Jacare debuted on the right foot in Ultimate. Facing North-American Chris Cammozzi in UFC Combate 2, held last Saturday, in Jaraguá do Sul, the Brazilian achieved his fourteenth submission victory in his career.
“The emotion was great, I don’t even know how to explain it. I'm bursting with happiness! Now I just want to rest, relax, think about my next camp, my next fight, which I don't even know what it is yet, because I have no idea who my next opponent will be. I don't have any fight in mind, I'll leave that in the hands of the UFC, but I want them to know that I'm ready to face any opponent they put in front of me”, he guaranteed.
Back in Rio de Janeiro, the fighter took the opportunity to pay a visit to Team Nogueira, his friends' team Rodrigo Minotauro e Rogério Minotouro.
“I'm a fan of the Nogueira brothers, and besides, I have open doors here at the gym, due to the partnership with X-Gym. I have mutual friends and sometimes I come to train jiu-jitsu with master Everaldo Penco.”
A black belt in jiu-jitsu and judo, Jacaré received praise from Minotauro for his performance: “It was a man hitting a child”, he joked.
