"Now it's official. UFC, thank you very much. I am very happy to be part of this family”, said Poatan, in a video published on Instagram.
Executioner of Israel adesanya in kickboxing, Alex arrives at Ultimate to try to repeat his success in his GLORY days. Through the organization, the Brazilian won two belts, middleweight and light heavyweight. Now, the fighter will arrive in MMA to 'shade' his former victim.
Famous for his excellent striking, Poatan has some experience in mixed martial arts. The 34-year-old fighter has four appearances in the sport, having won three and defeated on one occasion.
For MMA, Alex has not performed since November of last season. On that occasion, the fighter surpassed Thomas Powell, playing for LFA 95.
