With a cooler head, the Brazilian Vitor belfort decided to apologize for his attitude at the UFC press conference at Combate 2, last Saturday (18), in Jaraguá do Sul (SC). This Tuesday morning (21), Belfort used the Twitter to apologize to journalists and fans, but justified his irritation with questions about Testosterone Replacement Treatment (TRT).

“To all my fans and all the reporters who were there at the post-event press conference, I would like to apologize for the way I responded about TRT. I recognize that I responded immaturely, but it was the tenth time that reporter had asked me the same thing. There is no excuse. I made the wrong decision and I'm here to ask for forgiveness”, the athlete published, in English, on his profile on the social network.

Later, after another question on the subject, the Brazilian asked if the journalist “was kidding me”.

Inside the octagon that night, Vitor belfort won Luke Rockhold with a spectacular round kick, still in the first round, in the main fight of the UFC in Combate 2. With the result, Belfort remains the second highest ranked middleweight in the UFC.
