After UFC no Combate 2, Rockhold plummets and Jacaré rises in the athlete rankings

North American fell to eighth and Brazilian is already sixth among middleweights

After another UFC event in Combate 2, last Saturday (18) in Jaraguá do Sul (SC), the Ultimate organization released the latest update of its official athlete rankings. And the main highlights of the new relationship participated in the main fights of the night in Jaraguá: the Brazilian Ronaldo Jacare and the North American Luke Rockhold.

Jacaré, who beat Chris Camozzi in the co-main fight of the night, moved up two positions and now occupies sixth place among middleweights. The former Strikeforce champion Luke Rockhold, defeated by Vitor belfort in the fight that closed the card, he dropped to eighth place. Still in the division, Costa Phillipou moved up a spot even without fighting. The Cypriot is now in fifth place.

Two other athletes who worked in the UFC in Combate 2 also gained positions in the new Ultimate list. Brazilian John Lineker, who beat Russian Azamat Gashimov, moved up one place and is seventh highest ranked among flyweights. Same evolution as Nik lentz, who beat Hacran Dias. The American gained a position and is ninth among the featherweights.
