The premiere of Ronaldo Jacare in the octagon it couldn't be better. The Brazilian took no notice of Chris Camozzi, 'erased' his rival in the first round and also took the best submission bonus at UFC Combate 2, an event held this Saturday (18), in Jaraguá do Sul.
Despite his good performance, Jacaré, who even said that he would like to face the winner of the fight between Vitor belfort e Luke Rockhold, went back and stated that he needs to climb a few steps to catch up with his compatriot in line for the middleweight belt.
“I'm not yet qualified to face Vitor. Belfort is in front of goal to fight for the belt and I'm arriving now. I still want to have this opportunity, but in the future”, said Jacaré, who justified his request to face the winner of the main fight of UFC Combate 2.
“When I was in the octagon the reporter asked me who I wanted to face in the main fight. I always want to fight someone who wins, I never want to fight someone who is coming off a defeat,” he added.
