Ready for the semi-final of the PFL (Professional Fighters League) light heavyweight tournament (up to 93kg), Antonio Shoe Guy made an assessment of his two fights in the regular season. The Brazilian athlete gave his opinion on the duels against Tom Lawlor and Vinny Magalhães and projected the duel against Emiliano Sordi next Friday (27).

“I was extremely happy with my first fight in the PFL. It was a great performance. I finished Tom Lawlor. He is very tough and difficult to finish. I won in the first round. My second fight, against Vinny (Magalhães) is difficult to judge. I can't measure how much pain he felt at that moment. I just know that I felt great during the fight, until that moment. About to face the champion of the last tournament, Emiliano Sordi, Shoe Face designed the duel against the Argentine fighter and showed how he intends to win the fight.
“Emiliano is extremely tough. He was the champion last season, he has a lot of good skills. He hits hard and has knockout power, but he showed some holes in his game. It's my job to explore that. The objective is to fight intelligently, use my strengths and capitalize on your weaknesses”, added the Brazilian athlete.
About to face his fourth fight in 2021, Shoe Face has one victory, one defeat and one 'no result fight' in the season. Champion of the third season of the reality show 'The Ultimate Fighter Brasil', the 31-year-old fighter has 11 triumphs and five setbacks in the sport.
