Almost 4 years after being defeated by Tony Ferguson at UFC 216, Kevin Lee believes that, in the event of a rematch, the scenario would be completely different. The now welterweight fighter (up to 77,1kg) said he would win a hypothetical new duel and stated that the height of his 'El Cucuy it's already passed. The statement was given in an interview with the channel 'Lynch on Sports'.

“That was a fight I was interested in until I saw him get dismantled by charles do brox (do not UFC 256), especially on the floor. This duel would hurt my heart a little because I would hit him so much that it would simply end our first fight. I would accept it, because easy money is easy money, but at this point, I think it's a long way from the top of the hill. I don’t like hitting people who don’t put up a good fight,” Lee teased.
