After making his UFC debut with victory, the light heavyweight Gegard Mousasi He is already beginning to project a possible change of category for his future in the organization. In an interview with the website MMA Junkie, the Armenian considered moving down to the middleweight division in search of the title.

“I believe that if I go to middleweight I will be much stronger. At the highest level, you don't want to give any advantage. I think there's a good chance I'll go (to middleweight). Only if the UFC tells me 'fight at light heavyweight and if you win two or three times, we'll give you a title shot'. If they say the same in the 84 kg division, because I was also a middleweight champion, maybe I will win a fight and be the challenger”, said Mousasi.
