In an MMA fight, the result is almost always unpredictable, but the sport still surprises at times. An unusual scene has been circulating on social media in which an athlete manages to 'lose' twice in a matter of seconds. Interestingly, one of the losses was to the referee of the match, who, to protect himself, ended up submitting the combatant who, moments before, had suffered a harsh knockout.

In the images (see below), it is possible to see the exact moment in which the victim suffers a harsh knockout. The athlete, however, quickly regains consciousness and mistakes the driver of the duel for his rival.
The referee, whose legs were grabbed, managed to place a guillotine on the fighter. Stuck in the position, the combatant was not even able to give up. Moments later, he 'blacked out' and was supported by his team.
After submitting the fighter, the match referee walked away and, with an expression of disappointment, seemed to regret the incident.
