Looking for another lightweight GP final (up to 70,3kg), Kayla harrison she guarantees that she is not complacent with the sequence of successes in her career. The two-time Olympic champion spoke about her preparation to remain at the 'top of the mountain' and how much she wants to become the best fighter in the world. The statement was made at PFL 8's media day, which takes place this Thursday (19).

“I want to be the best in the world on my worst day. This means I train hard, prepare correctly and don't look for anything external to motivate me. I just look within myself,” Harrison said.
The American also spoke about her obsession with training and emphasized her desire to be the best fighter on the planet.
“I have a deep desire to be the best at what I do and every day it gets me out of bed. I don't hit the 'snooze' button. I don't cheat. I don't miss training and I don't skip sessions. I go to the gym because it's what I want. I don't care if I'm the underdog or the favorite. Does not matter. I’m here to do just one thing, which is to be the best”, concluded Kayla.
With an undefeated record of 10 wins, Harrison dreams of winning another title in the PFL lightweight tournament. After winning Mariana morais and Cindy Dandois in the first round, the former judoka will face New Zealander Genah Fabian in the GP semifinals.
