In video on his official channelYouTube', the French-Cameroonian tried to devalue the victory of his likely next opponent and stated that he continues to be 'the king' of the division.

“I am the king, no matter what happens, I am the king. I'm the UFC heavyweight champion. The real belt is at home. Not what they bought at Walmart (multinational department store company) or anything else. The real one is at home,” said Ngannou.
And the story between Francis Ngannou e Cyryl Gane is already old, as both fighters trained together in the 'MMA Factory', one of the main teams in France. Now, however, the friendly atmosphere is over and the French-Cameroonian stated that his opponent 'knows what's coming' in his next challenge.
“Well, he is a challenger. I have no answer for him. I'm the champion and I'm here to fight the challengers. But it will be a fun fight, because I know this game.
