After announce that you are expecting a baby, Yana Kunitzkaya refuted accusations that she might have fought pregnant in her last fight. Showing irritation at her'Instagram', the Russian posted a photo of her first pregnancy for comparison purposes and recalled that UFC athletes undergo pregnancy tests before each fight.

In sixth place in the bantamweight rankings (up to 61,2kg), Yana is only expected to return to the octagon in the second half of 2022. In her last fight, the Russian fighter was knocked out by Irene aldana in July of this year. The fighter has a record of 14 triumphs and six setbacks. In March 2018, 'Foxy' competed for the featherweight belt (up to 65,7kg) against the Brazilian Chris Cyborg. On that occasion, Kunitskaya was knocked out by the Brazilian athlete in the first round.
