After a long wait, Marcus Buchecha will finally make his professional MMA debut. The jiu-jitsu legend enters action at the ONE Championship event on September 24th, against the undefeated Thomas Narmo in a fight valid for the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg). The information was given by journalists Guilherme Cruz and Damon Martin, from the North American website MMAFighting.com.

13-time jiu-jitsu world champion and two-time ADCC gold medalist, Buchecha has collected victories on the mats over names like Rudolph Vieira, Gilbert Durinho, Rafael Lovato Jr, kron gracie and many other great icons of gentle art. Training at American Top Team, the Brazilian is preparing to finally debut in MMA after having a fight against Ji Won Kang canceled at the beginning of the year.
On the other hand, Swede Thomas Narmo debuted in the One Championship cage this year against Alain Ngalani. Despite having taken place a few months ago, the duel was broadcast in an unprecedented way this Friday (13) and ended without result, after Narmo was hit by a low kick and was unable to return to the fight.
ONE Championship has not yet announced who will be the main attraction of the September 24th event, called ONE Championship: Revolution, which will take place in Singapore.
