The Ultimate organization announced that Kenny Robertson will replace the injured TJ Waldburger in the fight, valid in the welterweight division, against Sean Pierson at UFC 161. The order of the injury that removed Waldburger from the card was not disclosed.
Canadian veteran Sean Pierson, 37, has a record of 13 wins and three losses. His opponent, 29-year-old American Kenny Robertson, has a record of 12 wins and just two losses.
UFC 161 is scheduled to take place on June 15th, at MTS Center in Winnipeg (Canada). The main fight of the night marks the second defense of the interim bantamweight belt by Renan Barao, which faces Eddie Wineland. The co-main fight of the night pits the Brazilians face to face Mauritius Shogun e Rogério Minotouro.
