Former UFC fighter says Conor McGregor will return to the Octagon after suffering serious injury

Dan Hardy believes that the Irishman will return to work for the organization and predicted 'four or five more fights' for the 'Notório' for Ultimate

While various speculations arise about the future of Conor McGregor After the injury, former fighter Dan Hardy has no doubts that the Irishman will return to the octagon. In an interview with the website 'Bleacher Report', the Englishman said that the 'Notório' will return to fight for the UFC and believes that he will have 'four or five more fights' for the organization.

“I believe he is desperate to get back there and leave people with a better impression of what he is capable of. I think he is capable of doing much more. The difficulty he has now is to bring the right people around him, those who will really improve his game. We already know what he is very good at, but he needs some different angles and looks”, said Hardy.

The former welterweight fighter believes that the time in the 'yard' will help the Irishman to reflect on his future and stated that he hopes to see him in Ultimate for another 'four or five fights'.

“With a cast on his leg, he will have time to think and figure out what he wants from his future. I think it's difficult for him to stop after this ankle injury. I believe we will probably see at least four or five more fights in the UFC. Then, perhaps, he will box later”, concluded the Englishman.

A former welterweight title challenger, Hardy wore UFC gloves for four years. His last fight was the victory over Amir Sadollah in September 2012. The European veteran retired with a record of 25 triumphs and 10 setbacks.
