With the victory, Aldo confirmed his good form in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg). Coming from two positive results in a row, the 'People's Champion' defended fifth place in the group and once again dreamed of a future title fight.

After overcoming Pedro, Aldo did not ask for a title fight. The athlete turned his gaze to the former category champion, TJ Dillashaw, who returned to MMA with victory last month, after serving a two-year suspension for doping.
