“Jones and I have had that kind of relationship throughout his entire career. When he's ready to fight, we're ready. He has been talking about fighting at heavyweight. In this division we now go to Houston, where Derrick Lewis faces Cyryl Gane and whoever wins this fight faces Francis Ngannou. Jones could come back facing whoever wins this fight. Or he can face Stipe Miocic. Stipe has already accepted the fight and we are ready”, revealed Dana.

Regardless of who the opponent will be, Dana White does not believe that Jones will return to the octagon before 2022. The former light heavyweight champion is negotiating a contract renewal and stated that he will only fight again when he understands that the payment is up to par. he believes he deserves it.

PUBLICITY:

Until Jones comes back, Derrick Lewis e Cyryl Gane face each other for the interim heavyweight belt in the main fight of the UFC 265, this Saturday (07), in Houston, in the United States.
