Khabib's cousin, Usman Nurmagomedov runs over rival and maintains his unbeaten career record at Bellator 263

Under Khabib's gaze, Usman Nurmagomedov put on a real show Bellator 263, held this Saturday (31), in Los Angeles (USA). Manny Muro's opponent on the main card, the Russian displayed great technical ability and took no notice of his rival. With safe performance, the athlete emerged victorious with a tough knockout in the first round.

Promising in the company's lightweight division (up to 70,3kg), Nurmagomedov stepped into the cage to defend his unbeaten record in his career. Before the clash, the Russian had 12 positive results in a row.

With the victory, Usman once again made Bellator's bet on his name count. Now, the fighter has two victories in the organization and doesn't know what it's like to lose in four years of his career.

Beaten by Nurmagomedov, Muro suffered his first setback with the organization's gloves. Before testing himself against Nurmagomedov, the athlete had two victories.

The confrontation began with Usman risking a front kick on Muro. Manny responded with a straight shot that grazed the Russian's face. After dodging an attack from his opponent, Nurmagomedov went into a grappling fight and reached his opponent's back. Manny tried to protect himself and Usman looked for space for the submission. Muro tried to break away, but the Russian didn't let go of his rival. Three minutes into the duel, Manny managed to spin around and get to his feet. Usman, however, continued to pressure his opponent, pushing against the bars. Near the final minute, Nurmagomedov connected with a knee to his rival's waistline, which he felt and fell. Taking advantage of the good moment, Khabib's cousin continued to attack his opponent with punches until the referee interrupted.

In the co-main fight of the show, a technique class. Former featherweight title challenger, Emmanuel sanchez he had a hard time and was unable to dominate Mads Burnell. After three disputed rounds, the veteran ended up defeated by unanimous decision from the judges.

With the result, Sanchez suffered the second negative result in a row, something unprecedented in his career. In addition to losing the duel, Emmanuel is expected to lose second place in the featherweight rankings (up to 65,7kg.).

Victorious in the clash, Mads proved his qualities and triumphed in the biggest challenge of his career to date. The goal will make the North American take an important leap forward in the group. Before the confrontation, the fighter was in eighth place.

Ward of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Mamedov didn't have an easy time in his Bellator debut. Representative of the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg), the Russian fought pragmatically against Brent Primus. In a confrontation marked by technique, the athlete emerged victorious against the North American in a split decision by the judges.

Under the eyes of the UFC legend, Mamedov reached a significant milestone with the positive result. The athlete extended his undefeated streak to 19 triumphs. The fighter hasn't lost since 2009, when he was knocked out by Alexander Sarnavskiy.

With defeat, Primus ended up having a sequence of two triumphs interrupted. The combatant had not lost since the setback to Michael chandler, in 2018, for the lightweight belt.
