Former friend and fellow member of American Top Team (ATT), Jorge masvidal knows like few others the provocateur's way of being Colby covington. Today, a self-confessed dislike of 'Caos', 'Jesus das Ruas' used his free time to mock a challenge made by his rival to Dustin poirier. On social media, the athlete joked about the situation.

“For those who don't know, because I've been there and trained with both of them. Colby would call the police, because history always repeats itself,” said Masvidal, in his account on Twitter.

Jorge's provocation was due to a challenge made by Covington in an interview with 'Submission Radio'. At the time, the North American said he welcomed a fight against the former interim lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg), who also knows the 'loudmouth' from the time the athlete was part of ATT.

“The only fight that makes sense is between Dustin and me. I'll expose it. (…) Why is he so quiet? Because he knows I'm coming after him and he's not a man of his word. He threatened me via the press. I saw him about 50 times and he 'ran away'. He looked away and walked past me,” Colby said at the time.

Although he made public his desire to face Poirier, who is coming off a recent victory over Conor McGregor, Covington negotiates a historic rematch against Kamaru Usman. Ultimate's president, Dana White, recently revealed that the clash should take place in early November, at UFC 268.
