The Ultimate organization announced, this Saturday (27), another fight for UFC on FOX 8: the duel between middleweights Ed Herman and Trevor Smith.
Trevor is a former athlete for the now-defunct Strikeforce. The North American has a record of 13 fights, with ten wins and three losses. The 32-year-old athlete is a specialist in ground fighting – having won nine fights by submission.
His opponent, Ed Herman, is a UFC veteran – the organization he has worked for since 2006. “Short Fuse”, as he is known, was a finalist in the third edition of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter. The 32-year-old fighter has a record of 20 wins, nine losses and one fight without result.
UFC on FOX 8, the stage for the fight between Herman and Smith, is scheduled to take place on Key Arena, in Seattle (USA), on July 27th. The main fight of the night, between Demetrious Johnson and John Moraga, is valid for the flyweight category title.
